The sixth in a series of grants under the Applied Research Programme will support the implementation of knowledge-intensive product development and applied research projects.
The amount of funding requested in this call is between €250 000 and €2 million. The final deadline for the submission of pre-screened projects for pre-evaluation is two weeks before the deadline (22.03.2024 for the sixth round). Required co-financing is 20%-75%.
The grant is targeted at:
- Companies wishing to develop innovative technologies, processes, products or services; test new materials or gain knowledge on technological feasibility.
- Entrepreneurs can participate either independently or in collaboration with other Estonian or foreign companies, research institutions, test laboratories or intellectual property experts.
- The programme is open to all companies registered in Estonia, irrespective of their size or the length of time they have been operating. Participating companies must not be in difficulty.
Support can be used for:
- To carry out applied research;
- Experimental product development;
- feasibility studies
- Initial protection of intellectual property rights
