At the end of this year or no later than January, the support measure for Southeast Estonia is reopening. The goal of providing support is to contribute to the development of the Southeast Estonia region by supporting the growth of entrepreneurship and innovation, as well as the creation of more diverse job opportunities. The support is targeted towards micro- or small businesses operating in the counties of Valga, Võru, or Põlva.
• The business must have been operating for at least 3 years according to the business registry, and the applicant’s sales revenue for the previous year must be at least 40,000 euros.
• The size of the support is 20,000 – 60,000 €, and the share is 60%. Therefore, to receive the maximum support of 60,000 €, the total investment must be 100,000 € with a personal contribution of 40,000 euros.
The support can be used for construction, acquisition of equipment, and digital solutions, including:
• Development activities and investments related to a new or significantly improved product or service;
• Activities and investments related to increasing production or service capacity;
• Investments related to automation or digitization and personnel training;
• Sales and marketing activities accounting for 10% of the costs, as supporting activities for the activities specified in points 1–3, if they are not related to export support.
