From November 8, applications are open for support from the KIK environmental program for the acquisition of equipment for providing fishing data. The budget for this stage is 15,000 euros.
This year, the fishing program has two application stages. In the current, second stage, support is provided only for the acquisition of equipment for providing fishing data. Decisions on projects submitted in the first stage earlier this year have already been made, and funded projects are in the process of implementation.
The maximum amount of support for the acquisition of one piece of equipment is up to 300 euros. A single enterprise can apply for support for the acquisition of up to five pieces of equipment. Support is available to enterprises engaged in commercial fishing in inland waters and holding a commercial fishing license.
The deadline for submitting applications is December 11, 2023, at 5:00 PM.
A new application stage will open in early 2024 for the implementation of projects in the field of fishing research, protection of fish resources, improvement of the ecological state of water habitats, and project development.
