The aim of the support is to increase the competitiveness of entrepreneurs who operate permanently in small towns and rural areas, thereby creating opportunities for the establishment of new attractive jobs in these regions. The support is intended for the implementation of activities that contribute to balanced regional development and the sustainable growth of entrepreneurs permanently operating in rural areas, through the adoption of new technologies or IT solutions, or by improving resource efficiency. The budget for this call for applications is €20,000,000.
Support Conditions:
Support is provided for up to 40% of the eligible costs of the project. The maximum amount of support per applicant during the strategic plan period is €200,000. The minimum amount of support per application is €10,000.
Who Can Apply:
Micro and small enterprises (hereinafter referred to as the applicant) that have operated for at least two financial years prior to submitting the application and have generated sales revenue of at least €40,000 in each of the two financial years immediately preceding the year of application submission are eligible to apply. The applicant’s place of business must be located in a rural or small-town settlement area (hereinafter rural area), except for the municipalities of Harku, Saue, Saku, Kiili, Rae, Jõelähtme, and Viimsi, which border Tallinn. Supported Activities:
1. Acquisition of tangible or intangible assets;
2. Construction of a building at the applicant’s permanent place of business in a rural area or small town.
