This grant supports the cooperation of entrepreneurs with research institutions, test laboratories or intellectual property experts to test new materials, gather knowledge about technological feasibility, conduct research, etc. The maximum amount of the grant is 7,500 euros, self-financing is 20%.
Who can apply:
- The innovation grant is a targeted grant to procure services necessary for product development from an innovation service provider.
- The grant is awarded to a project that is aimed at developing a novel solution that is in at least one of the focus areas of the Estonian Institute of Science, Technology and Innovation and for which the applicant lacks the resources, knowledge, skills or experience.
- The project contributes to maintaining the basic principles of Estonia 2035 and achieving the goals.
- The applicant can be a small and medium-sized enterprise entered in the Estonian commercial register.
- The grant can be applied for up to two times.
- The applicant must not have received de minimis aid exceeding 300,000 euros in the last three years.
The support can be used for:
- for prototyping
- technological development, testing and demonstration of components
- organization of product testing and industrial experiments, conducting a feasibility study
- legal protection consultancy, research and registration of a patent, utility model or industrial design
- accreditation, certification, standardization, conformity assessment, metrology service
